The English Family began their journey together sixteen years ago when founders, Phillip and Renee' English married in 1992.  Phillip was an evangelist and Renee' was preparing to work as a missionary.  They both sang southern gospel music in local churches, at events and basically anywhere and everywhere they were given an opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!  The English Family continues to serve the Lord in as many areas as God allows them to. Their hearts' desire is to spend their lives for the glory of their Father, the worship of the Son, and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Phillip Comes from a long line of preachers and southern gospel musicians and vocalists.  His parents traveled for over fifteen years evangelizing, singing and spreading the Gospel Of Jesus Christ.  He began his musical career at the age of five when he would play the guitar and sing for the services his grandparents were leading.  Phillip performed as a soloist for many years opening for such groups as; The Perrys, The Perry Sisters, The Freemans and The New Hinsons!

Renee' also comes from a long line of musicians and vocalists.  She has several family members who still evangelize and sing in North Georgia.  Renee' began singing in her church as soon as she was old enough to join the children's choir and she has never stopped.  Something about sharing the love of Jesus through song moves her like nothing else can.

The English Family children (Jacob 14, Elizabeth 13, Rebecca 11) are natural talents with plenty of history to help them along.  They have each been singing since they were old enough to talk.  Jacob sings perfect harmony and is also a musician playing the bass guitar and drums.  Elizabeth has one of those power packed voices and great vocal control.  Rebecca is also a great vocalist and enjoys singing gospel music.
