Asheboro, NC – AMG Capitol Recording Artist, The English Family, have the Number 1 Song on the Radioactive Airplay Top 100 Chart. "Take It To Jesus" the groups newest release on the Radioactive Airplay System first hit Number 1 on Independence Day.

With over 150 plays on the Radioactive Airplay System since its release, the song has already been added to the playlist of over 90 stations across the US and around the world in just the first couple weeks. The song was also part of the English Family’s video and it is currently available for viewing on www.sogospel.com as well through the group’s website at www.englishfamilyonline.com and also through the group’s hometown newspapers website.

According to Radioactive Airplay head Charles Brady "Take It To Jesus" was an obvious choice for release to radio by the English Family. "Phillip English wrote a beautiful song and I think it’s awesome that he gets to stand on stage with his lovely wife & 2 beautiful daughters and a fine looking son and share this wonderful song of hope to people around the world. The group has obviously scored big with the DJ’s who use the Radioactive Airplay System because the song is one of only 3 songs that have ever had more than 5 DJ’s taking the time to rate the song to put it in the category of being the top rated song in the Radioactive Airplay System. The song has been rated by 10 RAA DJ’s giving the song an accumulated current rating of 4.79 out of a possible 5. The fact that so many DJ’s took the time to rate the song is I’m sure a strong indicator of why the song has been added to so many radio stations.

About The English Family

The English Family began sixteen years ago when high school sweethearts Phillip English and Renee’ Coffey married in January of 1992. Phillip was a young evangelist and solo artist and Renee’ was a small town girl who knew that God had placed a call on her life.Shortly after they married they began to pray for a son to carry on the ministry that had begun in Phillip’s family with his grandfather. God granted their petition and Renee’ gave birth to a son, Jacob, in September of 1993. God continued to bless their family with Elizabeth, born in 1995, and Rebecca, born in 1997.

The English family has traveled quite a bit in the years that they have been together. Phillip has pastored three churches in the sixteen years that he and Renee’ have been married. They have also had several opportunities to sing with some of the best in Southern Gospel music, including the Perry Sisters, Jeff and Sherri Easter, as well as The Perry’s, The New Hinsons, and The Freemans.

Currently, The English Family is excited about the gifts that God has instilled in their children, and how God is bringing things to pass in their lives. They look forward to the opportunities that God is opening up for them as they share the Good News everywhere they go.
